One story that truly touched our hearts was from a family who had traveled all the way from Alberta. They mentioned that the simple pleasures—like enjoying s’mores by the beachside fire pit and watching their dog chase seagulls—were moments they’ll cherish forever. Their excitement was contagious, reminding all of us why we love being here.

Our restaurant team has also had some unforgettable moments. Anthony and Kaelyn, two of our incredible servers, often found themselves swapping adventure stories with guests, whether about hiking the stunning trails of Rathtrevor Beach or recommending local wildlife tours. Their personal touches helped create memories beyond just meals, leaving guests with the feeling of being welcomed not just by staff but by friends.

It is with both excitement and a touch of sadness that we announce the departure of our beloved Executive Sous Chef, Bryan Faux, who will be moving to Montreal to work alongside Chef Bongo. Bryan has been an integral part of our kitchen, and while we will deeply miss his culinary creativity and warm presence, we are thrilled to see him take this next big step in his career. As a lifelong Blue Jays fan, Bryan is excited to be closer to the action in Montreal and hopes to catch a game or two—until the Expos make their return! From all of us here, Bryan, we wish you nothing but success and happiness in this exciting new chapter.
